This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, what types of cookies we use on www.autokonekt.rs, and how you can manage them.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit a website. Cookies allow a site to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, and display settings) over a period of time, so you don't have to re-enter them every time you visit the site or move from one page to another.

What cookies do we use?

On www.autokonekt.rs we use the following categories of cookies:

1. Essential cookies

These cookies are required for the basic functioning of the site. They enable features such as logging in, navigation, saving the selected Service, and accessing protected sections of the site. The site cannot function properly without these cookies and they cannot be disabled.

Examples: session cookie for the user session, authentication cookie, cookie storing your cookie preferences.

2. Analytics cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors use the site by collecting pseudonymised data on traffic and behavior. We use them to improve functionality and user experience. We currently use Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) with IP pseudonymisation.

3. Marketing cookies

These cookies are used to track visitors so we can show advertisements that are relevant to a given user and measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. We currently use Meta Pixel (Facebook).

Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel)

We use Meta Pixel, a tool by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., which helps us measure the effectiveness of our ads and provide you with more relevant advertising. Meta Pixel collects data about your activities on the site (page visits, started orders, completed orders). This data is sent to Meta and used in accordance with Meta's privacy policy.

Meta Pixel is activated only after you give consent to marketing cookies through the cookie banner. Without your consent, Meta Pixel does not load and does not collect any data.

How to manage cookies

When you first visit the site, you are shown a cookie banner where you can:

  • accept all cookies;
  • accept only essential cookies;
  • adjust settings for each category of cookies separately.

You can change your consent at any time using the Cookie Settings option in the site footer, or by deleting cookies in your browser settings, in which case the banner will reappear.

You can configure your browser to block cookies or notify you when a cookie is set. Please note that blocking essential cookies may affect site functionality.

How long are cookies stored?

  • Session cookies: automatically deleted when you close the browser.
  • Persistent cookies: remain on your device until they expire or you manually delete them. Our persistent cookies have a maximum lifetime of 12 months.
